The Deposit Protection Agency has recently issued a notification limiting the deposit protection to customers with deposits in financial institutions whose licenses are revoked.  The protection, which was previously unlimited, is now capped at Baht 50 million and will be reduced to Baht 1 million as of 11 August 2012.
