The first case under the UK’s Bribery Act 2010 has been reported on the Crown Prosecution Service’s blog site. What is of particular interest is that the case was brought for alleged domestic rather international bribery. Further, the case was commenced by the Crown Prosecution Service rather than the Serious Fraud Office, which is expected to take a leading role in foreign bribery cases under the Bribery Act 2010.
