For helping clear Miss Ratchanok Itanon of doping charges before the Badminton World Federation, Khun Sarocha was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation – click here – on 18 July 2016.  This clears the way for Ratchanok to participate in the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil of behalf of Thailand.

This is not the first time Khun Sarocha has been involved in international sports arbitration.  She was involved in previous arbitration proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, based in Lausanne Switzerland, against another three Thai Olympic athletes, Mrs. Chitchanok Pulsabsakul, Mrs. Sukanya Srisurat and Mrs. Boonatee Klakasikit.  Khun Sarocha is a litigator with substantial experience handling Thai court cases and international arbitration proceedings (she handles matters in both the English and Thai languages).  For more information about PriceSanond’s dispute resolution practice, click here.
