PriceSanond attended a luncheon hosted by the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCC) at the Shangri-La Hotel on 25 November 2016.  The highlight of the luncheon was a one-hour address by H.E. Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha entitled “Open For Business:  The Next Chapter in Thailand’s Competitiveness”.

The Prime Minister covered a lot of ground during his address, including government support for education reform, infrastructure development, modernization of the agricultural sector, tourism and helping Thailand avoid the “middle income trap” by making the country a hub of innovation.   He also confirmed that the government remains committed to its roadmap for elections in 2017, and that his administration will pursue objectives supportive of foreign investment during the remainder of its term.
